Who Should Buy vs. Who Should Skip

These foam speaker edge rings are ideal for DIY enthusiasts and audio hobbyists looking to repair or refurbish existing speakers, especially those with 2.5-inch drivers. They are suitable for anyone needing to replace worn or damaged speaker surrounds to restore sound quality. Skip these if you are looking for complete speaker units, or if your speaker requires a rubber or paper surround instead of foam. Ensure your speaker's mounting dimensions match the product specifications before purchasing.

How to use

Prepare the Speaker — Carefully remove the old, damaged foam surround from the speaker cone. Clean any remaining glue residue from the speaker basket and cone edge using a mild solvent or adhesive remover.
Apply Adhesive — Apply a thin, even layer of speaker adhesive (not included) to the edge of the speaker cone where the new surround will attach. Ensure complete coverage without excess.
Attach the New Surround — Gently place the new foam surround onto the adhesive-covered cone edge, aligning it carefully. Press down firmly to ensure a good bond. Allow the adhesive to cure completely as per its instructions before testing.
