Yamaha 6C Soprano Saxophone Mouthpiece, Standard Series | Phenol Resin Plastic, 4.4cm (1.73in) x 12.3cm (4.84in) x 4.2cm (1.65in)

• Authentic Yamaha standard-series soprano sax mouthpiece.
• The 6C size has a large tip opening for powerful tone and volume. Good for experienced players with a strong embouchure.
• Made from safe and durable phenol resin plastic.
• State of the art manufacturing produces an extremely high quality and consistent mouthpiece.
• Fits any brand of standard soprano saxophone.

• Attach to Saxophone — Gently slide the mouthpiece onto the neck cork of your soprano saxophone. Ensure a snug fit; use a small amount of cork grease if needed for smooth insertion. Do not force the mouthpiece.
• Position Reed and Ligature — Place a suitable soprano saxophone reed (strength 2.0-2.5 recommended for this tip opening) onto the flat side of the mouthpiece. Secure the reed with a standard soprano sax ligature, tightening it evenly until the reed is held firmly but not crushed.
• Play and Adjust — Begin playing, adjusting your embouchure and breath support to achieve the desired tone and volume. The large tip opening may require a stronger embouchure and more air than smaller openings.
• Clean After Use — After each playing session, remove the ligature and reed. Rinse the mouthpiece with cool water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Store in a protective case to prevent damage.
