• Moisten the flat side of a suitable alto saxophone reed (strength 2.0-2.5 recommended for beginners). Place the reed flat against the mouthpiece table, ensuring the tip of the reed is slightly above the tip of the mouthpiece. — Attach Reed
• Slide the ligature over the mouthpiece and reed. Position it so it holds the reed firmly but not too tightly, typically about 1-2mm from the tip of the mouthpiece. Tighten the ligature screws gently. — Secure with Ligature
• Carefully place the mouthpiece and reed assembly onto the neck cork of your alto saxophone. Use cork grease if needed to ensure a snug, airtight fit. Adjust the mouthpiece angle for comfortable embouchure. — Mount on Saxophone
