• Prepare Your Palette — Open the travel tin. Activate the paints by adding a few drops of clean water to each half pan you intend to use. Allow them to soften for a minute or two.
• Mix Your Colors — Use the included Cotman Size 5 Pocket Brush to pick up paint. Mix colors on the integral or removable palette surfaces within the tin. Add water to dilute for lighter tones or washes.
• Apply to Surface — Apply the mixed watercolor to your chosen paper. Use varying pressure and water amounts to control the paint's flow, transparency, and intensity for desired effects.
• Clean Up and Store — Rinse your brush thoroughly with clean water. Wipe down the mixing palettes and tin. Allow paints to dry completely before closing the tin to prevent mold.
