Engineered for Longevity and Performance
This Westbrass drain plug is crafted from high-quality brass and heavy-duty metal, ensuring it withstands regular use and hot water without degrading. Its twist-and-close mechanism provides a secure seal, preventing leaks and ensuring your bath fills properly. The polished chrome finish is not just aesthetically pleasing but also resistant to corrosion, a crucial factor in humid Indian bathrooms where local fixtures can often rust or tarnish quickly. Unlike generic plastic alternatives, this metal construction offers superior durability and a premium feel.
Ideal for Coarse Thread Drains, Skip if Not Applicable
This drain plug is specifically designed for tubs with a 1-1/2 inch NPSM (1-7/8 inch - 11-1/2 UNC) coarse thread drain shoe. It offers a secure and leak-free fit for compatible systems. If your bathtub drain has a fine thread, a different size, or a pop-up mechanism that is not compatible with a coarse thread stopper, this model will not fit. Always verify your drain's thread type and size before purchasing to ensure proper function and avoid installation issues.
