Vandoren SR215 Alto Sax Traditional Reeds Strength 5 (10 Pack) | Professional Eb Alto Saxophone Reeds

• Traditional reeds are known for their excellent response in all registers, allowing a pianissimo attack in even highest notes.
• Extremely flexible, allowing the legato or staccato execution of large intervals while maintaining a richness of tone that gives body and clarity to the sound, which is a hallmark of Vandoren reeds.
• Traditional reeds are available for all clarinets and saxophones in various strengths.
• Every reed sealed in 'Flow Pack' to ensure freshness.

• Prepare the Reed — Gently remove one reed from the 'Flow Pack'. Soak the tip of the reed in clean water for 1-2 minutes to moisten the cane fibers and make it playable.
• Attach to Mouthpiece — Carefully slide the moistened reed onto your Eb alto saxophone mouthpiece. Ensure it is positioned correctly and centered. Secure it firmly with a ligature, but do not overtighten.
• Play and Adjust — Begin playing your alto saxophone. Adjust the reed's position slightly on the mouthpiece if needed to achieve the best tone and response. Experiment with embouchure pressure to find your optimal sound.
• Store Properly — After playing, remove the reed. Wipe it dry with a soft cloth and store it in a protective reed case, ideally with a humidity control system, to maintain its condition and prolong its life.
