• Prepare the Cleaning Solution — Dissolve one scoop (approx. 5g) of Urnex Cafiza powder in hot water (refer to product instructions for exact amount) inside your espresso machine's portafilter with a blind filter.
• Perform Backflushing Cycles — Insert the portafilter into the group head. Run short backflush cycles (approx. 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off) for about 5-10 cycles to allow the solution to circulate through the group head, valves, and lines.
• Rinse Thoroughly — Remove the portafilter and run several cycles of clean hot water through the group head to thoroughly rinse away all cleaning solution residue. Ensure no trace of cleaner remains.
• Clean Portafilter and Accessories — Soak the portafilter, blind filter, and any other removable parts in a separate solution of Cafiza and hot water for about 30 minutes. Rinse all parts thoroughly before reassembling and using the machine.
