Expand Your Network Simply
The ukiism Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2, a 0.3m (1ft) cable, converts a single RJ45 port into two, allowing two devices to share a network connection. It is compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat7 cables, ensuring broad usability. This splitter is designed to prevent cable damage from frequent plugging and unplugging, functioning as both a splitter and an extension cable. It features a 2mm thick PCB board and pure copper plated gold needles for stable transmission and effective shielding against electromagnetic interference, ensuring signal integrity.
This adapter is particularly useful for situations where router ports are limited or when you need to connect two devices in different fixed locations without running additional cables. The fixed RJ45 female interface shields external electromagnetic signals, preventing damage to your internet signal and ensuring a more stable connection. The inclusion of screw holes allows for secure wall mounting, adding convenience and organization to your network setup.
While this splitter allows two devices to connect to the same network source, it's important to note that only one port can be active at a time. It does not support simultaneous internet access for two computers. This makes it suitable for scenarios where devices are used sequentially or for extending a connection to a secondary device when the primary is not in use. Imported for India, it offers a practical solution for network expansion.
Reliable Network Extension
This ukiism Ethernet splitter provides a robust solution for extending your network connectivity. It utilizes pure copper conductors and gold-plated contacts, shielded by a 2mm PCB, to ensure stable data transfer and minimize interference. Unlike basic splitters, its construction is designed for durability and consistent performance, making it a dependable choice for home or office networks. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, it brings a reliable networking component to your doorstep.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This splitter is ideal for users needing to connect two devices to a single Ethernet port sequentially or in separate locations, such as sharing a modem between a PC and a smart TV when not used simultaneously. It's also great for preventing wear on network cables from frequent plugging. However, it is NOT suitable for users who require simultaneous internet access for two devices from one port, as only one port will be active at a time. For simultaneous use, a network switch is required.
Typical situations where ukiism Ethernet Splitter 1 to 2 helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
A user in a Mumbai apartment needs to connect both their gaming PC and a smart TV to the single Ethernet port available behind the TV.
This ukiism splitter allows sequential use: connect the PC when gaming, then switch to the TV for streaming. It avoids running a second cable and uses pure copper for stable connections, ensuring a better experience than basic local adapters.
A user in a Bangalore office needs to connect a laptop and a VoIP phone to a single wall-mounted RJ45 port without causing cable damage.
The splitter's design prevents constant plugging/unplugging of the main cable. Its stable transmission and compatibility with Cat6 ensure reliable connectivity for both devices, used one at a time, with the option to wall-mount for tidiness.

| Functionality | Splits one RJ45 port into two (one active at a time); compatible with Cat5e-Cat7. | Local splitters may offer similar single-port splitting but compatibility with Cat6/Cat7 and build quality can vary significantly. Often priced ₹200-₹400. |
| Build Quality | Pure copper conductors, gold-plated contacts, 2mm PCB, electromagnetic shielding. | Local options may use copper-clad aluminum (CCA) or lower-grade materials, leading to less stable connections and weaker shielding. Build quality varies widely. |
| Cable Length | 0.3m (1ft) integrated cable. | Local splitters might be standalone adapters requiring a separate patch cable, or have integrated cables of varying lengths. |
| Transmission Stability | Enhanced by pure copper and shielding, designed for stable signal integrity. | Stability can be inconsistent with local alternatives, especially those using CCA or lacking proper shielding, potentially leading to slower speeds or dropped connections. |
