• Prepare the Dye — Add cold water to the Tulip dye bottle up to the fill line indicated. Secure the cap tightly and shake well until the dye is fully dissolved and mixed.
• Apply Dye to Fabric — Fold, twist, or scrunch your chosen natural fabric (cotton, wool, rayon, silk) and secure with rubber bands. Apply the activated dye directly onto the fabric using the applicator bottle, ensuring good coverage.
• Set the Color — Wrap the dyed fabric in plastic wrap or place in a sealed bag. Let it sit for 4-8 hours at room temperature to allow the dye to fully penetrate and set into the fibers.
• Rinse and Wash — Unwrap the fabric and rinse thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear. Then, wash the item with mild detergent in a washing machine on a gentle cycle.
