• Determine Scent Load — For candles or soaps, start with 1-3% fragrance oil by weight of your wax or base. For a 100g batch, use 1-3g of oil. Adjust based on desired scent strength and product testing.
• Incorporate into Base — Add the measured fragrance oil to your melted wax or cooled soap base. Stir gently but thoroughly for 1-2 minutes to ensure even distribution throughout the mixture.
• Pour and Cure — Pour your scented wax into molds or pour your soap into molds. Allow candles to cure for 1-2 weeks for best scent throw. Cold-process soaps require a 4-6 week cure time.
