Achieve a Show-Ready Mane Effortlessly
The Tough 1 Mane Stay Spandex Hood in Purple, size Large, is crafted from durable and flexible spandex for a comfortable, sculpted fit. Designed without a center seam on the face, it ensures a smooth appearance and prevents shifting during wear. This hood is ideal for preparing your horse for shows by keeping the mane protected and neat.
Featuring a partial zipper, a center chest strap, and a wide elastic belly strap with a heavy-duty buckle closure, this hood stays securely in place. Large eye and ear holes are incorporated to prevent any rubs or irritation, ensuring your horse's comfort. The all-season design makes it versatile for year-round use.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, this Tough 1 hood offers superior quality. While local alternatives may exist, this authentic USA-sourced product ensures durability and a precise fit. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
Engineered for Show-Ready Manes
This Tough 1 Mane Stay Spandex Hood is specifically designed to maintain your horse's mane in pristine condition before competitions. The flexible spandex material contours to the horse's head and neck, preventing tangles and frizz. Unlike generic hoods, its sculpted fit, reinforced with a chest strap and secure belly closure, ensures it stays put, even on active horses. The large eye and ear openings are thoughtfully designed to avoid irritation, a common issue with lesser quality products. Imported from authorized US retailers, it represents a commitment to quality and performance for discerning equestrians.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip
This hood is perfect for horse owners preparing for shows, competitions, or simply wanting to maintain a neat mane between grooming sessions. It's ideal for horses that need protection from wind, dust, or rubbing that can damage mane hair. However, if your horse has extreme sensitivities to synthetic fabrics or requires a hood for heavy-duty weather protection (like rain or extreme cold), this model might not be the best fit. Consider a turnout sheet for outdoor weather protection or a natural fiber hood for very sensitive skin.
