Regain Control of Your Handwriting
The Thixotropic HEAVY Super Big Fat Pen is engineered to help individuals manage involuntary hand motions like essential tremors or Parkinson's. Its substantial weight (99g / 3.5 oz) and large 1-inch (25.4mm) diameter barrel provide a stable, forgiving grip that accommodates various holding styles, unlike standard pens that force specific ergonomic positions. This quality writing instrument is perfect for home or office use, offering a smoother writing experience for those who struggle with control.
Each pen utilizes a ballpoint mechanism with red, water-based ink and accepts widely available Parker-style refills, ensuring long-term usability. The ambidextrous, round design makes it comfortable for any user, regardless of their preferred grip. This twin pack provides two pens, each equipped with a long-lasting metal ink cartridge, offering excellent value and ensuring you always have a reliable writing tool at hand.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, these pens offer a distinct advantage over local alternatives that may not offer the same specialized design for tremor assistance. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
Specialized Design for Tremor Control
The Thixotropic HEAVY Super Big Fat Pen is specifically engineered for individuals experiencing essential tremors or Parkinson's. Its unique combination of significant weight (99g) and a large 1-inch diameter barrel provides a stable, controlled writing experience that standard pens cannot match. This design helps to dampen involuntary movements, allowing for clearer handwriting and greater confidence. Unlike generic pens, its construction focuses on providing a forgiving grip that adapts to various hand positions, reducing discomfort and fatigue during extended writing sessions. This imported writing instrument offers a tangible solution for improved daily tasks.
Ideal for Home & Office Use
This pen is best suited for individuals seeking improved writing control due to hand tremors or Parkinson's. Its substantial weight and large grip make it comfortable for extended use at home or in an office setting. Those who find standard pens difficult to grasp or control will benefit most. However, individuals without hand tremor issues may find the weight excessive for casual note-taking. If you prefer lightweight, slim pens, this model might not be the ideal choice. For general writing needs without specific control challenges, standard ballpoint pens are more conventional.
