See Clearly in the Dark, Day or Night
Tendelux BI8 IR Illuminator: Clearer Night Vision for Indian Surveillance. This 8W, 90° IR illuminator enhances your CCTV camera's ability to see in low light, extending night vision up to 120 feet. Its robust, IP66-rated aluminum housing is built to withstand India's diverse weather conditions, from monsoon humidity to coastal salt air, ensuring reliable performance year-round.
The illuminator uses 8pcs Epistar 1W infrared LEDs with an 850nm wavelength, providing even illumination thanks to an Anti-UV IR pass filter that reduces hot spots. It automatically powers on when ambient light drops below 10 lux, and its 90° viewing angle is ideal for cameras with 2.8mm, 3.6mm, or 4mm lenses. While the 850nm light is semi-covert, it appears as a faint red glow only visible up close.
For outdoor installations, ensure the included 12VDC power adapter is protected in a weatherproof box and connections are sealed. This illuminator is designed for surface mounting and comes with a U-bracket for easy adjustment. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping, arriving within 14-16 days.
Superior Night Vision for Indian Conditions
The Tendelux BI8 IR Illuminator is engineered to overcome the challenges of nighttime surveillance in India. Its powerful 8W output and 90° beam angle, combined with 850nm LEDs, deliver exceptional clarity up to 120 feet. Unlike basic illuminators, it features an Anti-UV IR pass filter for even light distribution, preventing hot spots and overexposure. The robust aluminum housing with an IP66 weatherproof rating ensures it can withstand monsoon rains, high humidity, and coastal salt air, providing reliable performance where local alternatives might fail. This illuminator is designed for seamless integration with most IR-sensitive cameras, enhancing your security setup's effectiveness 24/7.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This illuminator is perfect for homeowners and businesses in India seeking to significantly improve their existing CCTV camera's night vision capabilities for outdoor areas like driveways, gardens, or building perimeters. It's ideal for use with cameras featuring 2.8mm, 3.6mm, or 4mm lenses. Skip this unit if your camera is not sensitive to 850nm infrared light, or if you require a completely invisible IR source (this emits a faint red glow up close). It is also not suitable for indoor applications where a wide 90° beam is unnecessary or if you need a camera with built-in IR.
