For adult cats, serve 11-13 treats per 10 lbs (4.5 kg) of body weight daily. If using as a main meal, provide 1/2 to 2/3 cup per 10 lbs (4.5 kg) daily. Ensure fresh drinking water is always available. These treats are ideal for rewarding or as a food topper.

Are Temptations Catnip Treats healthy for my cat?

Temptations Classic Catnip Flavor Treats are 100% nutritionally complete and balanced for adult cats. Each treat is under 2 calories, making them a low-calorie option for daily rewards or meal toppers. They contain essential nutrients like Taurine and vitamins, but should be fed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

What if my cat ignores Temptations Catnip Treats?

While most cats find the catnip flavor irresistible, some cats may not respond due to genetic factors or age. If your cat shows no interest, consider trying a different flavor or a silvervine-based treat, as some cats react more strongly to silvervine than catnip. Ensure the treats are fresh and properly stored.

How long will a 1 lb tub of Temptations Catnip Treats last?

A 1 lb (453.59 g) tub contains approximately 450 treats, assuming an average treat weight of 1 gram. At the recommended daily serving of 11-13 treats per 10 lbs of body weight, a tub can last a 10 lb cat about 35-45 days. This provides excellent value, with a cost per treat of ₹4.58 per treat.

Why choose this product

Irresistible Flavor & Texture

Temptations Classic Catnip Flavor Treats are designed to be highly palatable for cats, combining a satisfying crunch with a soft center. The catnip infusion is a proven attractant for most felines, ensuring they come running when you shake the pack. Unlike some local Indian cat treats that may rely on artificial attractants or less appealing textures, these imported treats offer a superior sensory experience. The formulation is 100% complete and balanced for adult cats, providing essential nutrients alongside the enjoyable taste. This focus on quality ingredients and appealing texture makes them a preferred choice for discerning pet parents.

Ideal for Daily Rewards & Training

These treats are perfect for daily rewarding or as a training aid, with each piece containing under 2 calories. This low-calorie count allows for frequent use without contributing significantly to your cat's daily intake, aiding in weight management. They can also be used as a food topper to enhance the appeal of regular meals. Cats that might ignore less potent or less appealing local treat options often respond enthusiastically to Temptations. However, cats with specific dietary sensitivities or those on veterinary-prescribed diets should consult their veterinarian before introducing new treats.

How to use

Determine Serving Size — For an adult cat, calculate the daily serving based on body weight: 11-13 treats per 10 pounds (4.5 kg). If serving as a main meal, use 1/2 to 2/3 cup per 10 pounds (4.5 kg) of body weight daily.
Offer as Reward or Meal — Serve the calculated amount as a daily reward, a training incentive, or as a food topper to enhance your cat's regular meal. Ensure the treats are fresh by keeping the tub sealed.
Provide Fresh Water — Always ensure your cat has access to fresh, clean drinking water throughout the day, especially when feeding treats or dry food, to maintain proper hydration.
