• Prepare Mounting Surface — Ensure you have a flat, stable surface on your boat deck or seat structure. Mark the location for the 2 3/4 inch diameter mounting hole and pre-drill if necessary. Verify the surface can support the 2.8 lb base and the intended seat.
• Secure the Base — Position the 7x7 inch stainless steel base over the prepared hole. Use six appropriate screws or bolts (not included) to firmly attach the base to the surface through the pre-drilled countersunk mounting holes.
• Attach Seat Post — Insert your compatible seat post (with a 3/4 inch pin socket) into the pedestal base. The Lock'N-Pin system will engage to securely lock the post in place, preventing accidental detachment.
