• Prepare Your Surface — Ensure your fabric (cotton, polyester, linen, rayon) is clean and dry. For block printing, carve your design into a linoleum or rubber block. For screen printing, prepare your screen with the desired stencil.
• Apply the Ink — Apply a thin, even layer of Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink to your block or screen using a brayer or squeegee. Avoid applying too much ink, which can lead to bleeding.
• Print Your Design — Carefully press the inked block onto the fabric or pull the squeegee across the screen. Apply firm, even pressure for a clear transfer. The ink cures naturally without heat setting.
• Clean Up — Immediately after printing, clean all tools, blocks, and surfaces with soap and water. This oil-based ink is designed for easy cleanup, preventing permanent stains on your equipment.
