• Prepare Your Block and Surface — Carve your design into a linoleum or rubber block. Ensure your fabric or paper surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Lay out your materials on a protected work surface.
• Apply Ink to Block — Apply a small amount of Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink to a palette or roller. Roll out evenly to a thin, consistent layer. Transfer the ink to your carved block using a roller.
• Print Your Design — Carefully press the inked block onto your fabric or paper. Apply even pressure across the block for a clear impression. Lift the block straight up to reveal the print.
• Cure and Clean Up — Allow the print to dry to the touch overnight. Let it cure for 7 days before washing. Clean your block, tools, and hands immediately with soap and water.
