How do I connect two Soshine solar panels for maximum power?

To achieve the full 12W output, connect the two 6W Soshine solar panels in parallel using the provided DC male-to-male cable. Ensure the positive terminal of one panel connects to the positive terminal of the other, and similarly for the negative terminals. This configuration allows them to deliver a combined 12W at 5V.

What devices can I charge with this 12W solar panel set?

This 12W solar panel set is ideal for charging small, low-power devices. You can reliably charge power banks, camping lanterns, mini fans, security cameras, and mobile phones. It's designed for portable electronics and not suitable for high-draw appliances or powering a home.

Is this solar panel suitable for Indian weather conditions?

Yes, the Soshine solar panel is built with waterproof, UV, and scratch-resistant materials designed for over ten years of outdoor use. This makes it robust enough to withstand India's diverse climate, including monsoons and intense sunlight, ensuring reliable performance.

How to buy an original Soshine solar panel in India?

Purchase your original Soshine solar panel set from crowcrowcrow.com. We import directly from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, ensuring factory-sealed products. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, and your order is shipped via ExpressBox tracked delivery for transparency.

What is the difference between using one or two panels?

Using a single 6W panel provides a normal charging current of 500mA at 5V. Connecting two panels in parallel doubles the power output to 12W, with a normal charging current of 1000mA at 5V. This increased power is beneficial for faster charging or powering slightly higher-draw devices.

Ideal for Portable Electronics

This solar panel is best suited for charging small electronic devices like power banks, camping lanterns, mini fans, and security cameras. Its 5V USB output is compatible with a wide range of gadgets. However, it is not designed to power larger appliances or provide primary home electricity. If you need to charge high-draw devices or run a household system, consider larger, higher-wattage solar arrays or integrated solar generator kits.

How to use

Position the Solar Panels — Place the Soshine solar panels in direct sunlight, ideally facing south in India. Angle them towards the sun for maximum efficiency, adjusting throughout the day if possible. Ensure the surface is clean and free of obstructions.
Connect the Panels (Optional) — For 12W power, connect the two 6W panels in parallel using the provided DC male-to-male cable. Ensure secure connections to both panels and the device you intend to charge.
Connect Your Device — Plug your device (power bank, mini fan, lantern, phone) into the USB port or the DC output of the solar panel setup. Monitor charging progress; charging speed will vary based on sunlight intensity.
