• Prepare Pipe Ends — Ensure the ends of the 2-inch PVC pipes you are connecting are clean, dry, and free of burrs. Apply a thin, even coat of PVC primer to the outside of the pipe ends and the inside of the valve's socket ends.
• Apply PVC Cement — Apply a generous, even coat of PVC cement to both the primed pipe ends and the inside of the valve's socket ends. Work quickly as the cement begins to set.
• Assemble and Secure — Immediately insert the pipe ends fully into the valve sockets with a slight twisting motion. Hold firmly for 30 seconds to prevent push-out. Ensure the flow arrow on the valve body points in the direction of intended water flow. Allow adequate curing time as per cement instructions before operating.
