• Prepare the Surface — Power off and unplug your device. Carefully remove the heatsink or component cover. Use the included cleaning wipe and brush to thoroughly clean the old thermal paste or pad residue from both the chip surface and the heatsink.
• Apply the PTM7950 Pad — Remove the protective film from one side of the 40x80x0.25mm PTM7950 pad. Using the spatula or gloved finger, carefully place the pad onto the chip surface, ensuring it lies flat and covers the entire die area without wrinkles.
• Reassemble and Test — Gently place the heatsink onto the pad, ensuring proper alignment. Secure the heatsink with screws, tightening them in a criss-cross pattern to ensure even pressure. Reassemble your device, power it on, and monitor component temperatures under load to confirm effective cooling.
