• Prepare Your Brushes — Before first use, gently rinse the bristles in lukewarm water to remove any manufacturing residue. Soften the bristles slightly by hand. Ensure the ferrule is dry before painting.
• Load Paint Onto Brush — Dip the tip of the brush into your chosen paint (acrylic, oil, or watercolor). Load the brush with paint by gently swirling it on your palette, avoiding overloading the bristles.
• Apply Paint to Surface — Use the brush to apply paint to your canvas or paper. Utilize different strokes and pressures based on the brush shape and desired effect – from fine lines with detail brushes to broad strokes with flats.
• Clean Brushes Immediately — After each painting session, clean brushes thoroughly with appropriate brush cleaner (water for watercolor/acrylic, solvent for oil). Rinse well and reshape bristles before storing them flat or bristle-up.
