• Set Up the Board — Place the folding wooden Mancala board between the two players. Ensure each player has 24 stones. Distribute 4 stones into each of the 12 small pits (6 on each player's side).
• Start the Game — The player whose side has the pits begins. They pick up all the stones in any one pit on their side and sow them counter-clockwise, one stone per pit, including the opponent's pits but not the opponent's store.
• Capture Stones — If your last stone lands in an empty pit on your side, and the opposite pit on your opponent's side contains stones, you capture all stones in the opponent's opposite pit. If your last stone lands in an empty pit on your side and the opposite pit is empty, you capture nothing.
• End the Game — The game ends when all six pits on one player's side are empty. The player with the most stones in their store wins. Any remaining stones in the opponent's pits are counted towards the player who emptied their side.
