Regain Confidence at Mealtimes
PKPKAUT Adaptive Utensils are engineered to assist individuals with hand tremors, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, and other conditions affecting hand strength and control. The weighted design (198g/7oz per utensil) helps to stabilize movements, reducing involuntary shaking during meals. This set promotes greater independence and confidence at mealtimes.
Each utensil features a bendable handle that can be rotated up to 180 degrees, allowing users to find the most comfortable and effective angle for eating. This versatility ensures a better grip for both left and right-handed individuals, making them ideal for arthritic hands or those with limited grip strength. The set includes a rocker knife, dinner fork, dinner spoon, and soup spoon.
The 7-piece set also includes a universal cuff with an adjustable elastic strap for users with very little hand strength, a specialized cleaning brush for the handle grooves, and a portable Oxford tote bag for easy storage and travel. All utensils are completely dishwasher safe, simplifying cleanup without harsh detergents.
Engineered for Stability and Comfort
PKPKAUT adaptive utensils are designed with a substantial weight (198g/7oz) to counteract involuntary movements caused by tremors, Parkinson's, or arthritis. The ability to bend handles up to 180 degrees allows for personalized angles, ensuring a comfortable and secure grip for users with limited hand strength or dexterity. This focus on ergonomic design and stability aims to restore confidence and independence during mealtimes, making eating a less challenging and more enjoyable experience.
Ideal for Specific Needs, Not Universal
These utensils are specifically beneficial for individuals experiencing hand tremors, Parkinson's, arthritis, stroke recovery, or general weakness in their hands. They are not intended for individuals without these conditions, as the weight may feel cumbersome. While the universal cuff offers support for very low hand strength, users with complete paralysis or severe motor control issues may require more specialized feeding equipment. The set is designed for independent eating, not for assisted feeding.
