Add a Professional Silver Mirror Finish to Your Art
Transform your projects with the Pebeo Gedeo Mirror Effect Leaf Gilding Kit. This comprehensive set includes three 14x14cm silver mirror effect foil sheets and a 20ml Mixtion Relief Gilding Paste. It's designed for easy application on various clean, dry surfaces like wood, plaster, glass, metal, and cardboard, delivering professional, high-gloss results for artists and hobbyists across India.
The kit allows for both flat and dimensional gilding. Apply the paste to create your desired design, let it dry until tacky, and then carefully transfer the silver foil sheets using gentle pressure. For lasting protection against oxidation, it is recommended to seal the finished artwork with a suitable varnish. This product conforms to ASTM D-4236 and is AP certified, ensuring safety for crafters.
Achieve a stunning metallic silver finish on your artworks and crafts. While local craft stores offer basic gilding options, this imported kit provides a specific mirror effect foil and relief paste combination for a distinct, high-shine look. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping to your Indian pincode.
The Science of Mirror Effect Gilding
This kit utilizes a specialized relief gilding paste and mirror effect foil to create a smooth, highly reflective silver surface. Unlike traditional gold leaf, the mirror effect foil offers a distinct, almost polished metallic appearance. The paste acts as an adhesive, bonding the foil to the substrate once it reaches the correct tackiness. For longevity, sealing with a varnish protects the delicate foil from tarnishing and abrasion, ensuring your artwork retains its brilliance. This imported formulation is AP certified and conforms to ASTM D-4236, indicating safety for artistic use.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
Ideal for artists, crafters, DIY enthusiasts, and hobbyists in India looking to add a striking silver metallic finish to various projects. Perfect for decorating frames, furniture accents, mixed media art, or customising craft items. Skip this kit if you require a true gold leaf effect or are working on flexible materials where the foil might crack. Those sensitive to adhesives or requiring extreme durability without varnish protection should also consider alternatives.
