Why choose this product

Professional Artist Quality & Unique Formulation

PanPastel Colors are crafted with minimal binder and fillers, maximizing pigment concentration for unparalleled richness and blendability. This unique process results in an ultra-soft texture that applies like paint, offering artists a distinct advantage. Unlike traditional chalky pastels, PanPastels are fully erasable and produce significantly less dust, ensuring a cleaner studio and easier correction. This professional-grade quality, assembled in the USA, provides a superior artistic experience for detailed work and vibrant color mixing.

Ideal for Hobbyists, Not for Bulk Art Classes

This starter set is perfect for individual artists, hobbyists, and art students exploring new techniques or seeking high-quality pastels for detailed projects. It's best suited for personal use or small-scale creations. For large art classes or bulk school projects, consider more economical, larger-format pastel sticks that may offer a lower cost per unit, though potentially with less pigment concentration and more dust.

How to use

Select Color & Tool — Choose your desired PanPastel color. Pick a Sofft Applicator (Sponge Bar, Knife Cover, or Mini Applicator) suitable for the area you wish to color or blend.
Apply & Blend — Gently load the Sofft Tool with PanPastel color. Apply directly to your surface (paper, canvas) and blend using the tool or your fingers for smooth transitions and color mixes.
Layer & Erase — Layer colors to create new shades or build depth. PanPastels are fully erasable, allowing for corrections or adjustments to your artwork as needed.
