What is the difference between Outemu Black switches and other types?

Outemu Black switches are linear, meaning they offer a smooth, straight-up-and-down keystroke with a higher actuation force (60±15gf), ideal for gaming. Other types like Red are also linear but lighter, Brown are tactile and clicky, and Blue are clicky with a tactile bump. Black switches provide a distinct, high-pressure feel preferred by many gamers for precision.

Are these Outemu Black switches suitable for gaming in India?

Yes, these Outemu Black switches are excellent for gaming in India. Their linear feel and higher actuation force (60±15gf) provide precise input, crucial for fast-paced games. The durability tested for over 50 million keystrokes ensures they withstand intense gaming sessions. They are compatible with most MX-style mechanical keyboards, enhancing your gaming performance.

Can I install these switches myself on my mechanical keyboard?

Yes, these Granvela Outemu Black switches are designed for easy installation. They support both manual soldering and hot-swappable mechanical keyboard boards. The pack includes a puller tool, simplifying the process of replacing your old switches or customizing your keyboard layout.

How do I choose the right mechanical keyboard switch?

Choosing depends on your preference: linear switches like Outemu Black offer smooth travel for gaming. Tactile switches provide a bump feedback, good for typing. Clicky switches add an audible click. Consider actuation force: higher forces (like Black's 60±15gf) are for gamers, while lighter forces suit typists. These Black switches are best for gamers seeking precision and a substantial feel.

What is the lifespan of these mechanical keyboard switches?

These Outemu Black switches are built for longevity, having undergone over 50 million laboratory tests. This ensures a stable and reliable quality, meaning they can withstand extensive use for millions of keystrokes, making them a durable choice for both gaming and regular typing.
