Perfect Your Tuning with 100+ Years of Proven Performance
The GÖTZ Original Violin Peg Soap ZW-96 is a time-tested solution for string instrument players in India. Its graphite peg compound provides essential lubrication, ensuring smooth peg operation and precise tuning for violins, violas, and cellos. This formula, proven over 100 years, guarantees optimal friction and stability, preventing pegs from slipping or sticking. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, it offers a genuine alternative to local options.
This peg soap is designed for optimal tunability and long-lasting friction. The graphite-based compound works by creating a consistent, smooth surface on the pegs and peg holes, reducing the need for frequent re-tuning. This means more playing time and less frustration, especially in India's varied climate conditions where humidity can affect wood and peg performance.
Experience the difference of a proven formula. While local alternatives may offer basic peg lubrication, the GÖTZ Original Peg Soap delivers superior, long-lasting friction and tuning precision. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping within 19-24 days. Enjoy authentic quality for your instrument.
The Science Behind Smooth Tuning
GÖTZ Violin Peg Soap utilizes a specialized graphite compound, a natural lubricant known for its ability to reduce friction between surfaces. This creates a consistent, stable grip on your instrument's pegs, preventing them from slipping or binding. Unlike generic waxes or oils, graphite provides a dry, long-lasting lubrication that is less affected by temperature or humidity changes common in India. This means your instrument stays in tune longer, allowing for uninterrupted practice and performance. The formula has been refined over 100 years, ensuring a reliable solution for musicians.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This peg soap is ideal for violin, viola, and cello players seeking reliable tuning stability and smooth peg operation. It's perfect for musicians in India's diverse climates, where humidity can impact peg performance. If you find your pegs slipping, sticking, or making tuning difficult, this product offers a proven solution. Skip this if you are looking for a complete instrument or a different type of accessory; this product is specifically for peg lubrication and friction adjustment.
