Ensure Plumbing Health with Authentic Oatey Ventilation
The Oatey 500 DFU Air Admittance Valve is a crucial component for maintaining proper plumbing system ventilation. Designed to comply with ASSE Standard 1050 and 1051, this valve acts as a secondary vent, opening and closing automatically as needed by the building's plumbing system. It is rated to handle up to a 4-inch vent pipe and is suitable for venting DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) systems up to 4 inches and smaller, with a capacity of 500 DFU (Drainage Fixture Units).
Constructed from durable Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), this air admittance valve ensures reliable performance and longevity. Its design allows it to open when negative pressure builds in the system, releasing sewer gases and preventing trap seals from being siphoned. Once pressure normalizes, the valve closes, preventing odors from escaping into the building. This functionality is vital for preventing plumbing issues and maintaining a healthy indoor environment.
For Indian homeowners and plumbers, the Oatey Air Admittance Valve offers a reliable solution for secondary venting needs, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and preventing common issues like trap seal siphoning and sewer gas odors. Imported directly from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, this valve guarantees authentic quality and performance. All customs duties and GST are included in the displayed price, with delivery expected within 3-4 days via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
Engineered for Reliable Plumbing Ventilation
The Oatey Air Admittance Valve is engineered for consistent performance, automatically managing air pressure within your plumbing system. Its ASSE 1050 and 1051 compliance means it meets rigorous industry standards for safety and effectiveness. Unlike basic vents, this valve actively responds to pressure changes, preventing sewer gas backflow and protecting trap seals. Its robust PVC construction ensures durability, making it a long-term solution for maintaining a healthy and odor-free home environment. Imported directly from the USA, you receive the same quality trusted by plumbers there.
Ideal for Indian Homes & Plumbers
This valve is ideal for Indian homes facing common plumbing ventilation challenges, especially in humid climates or older buildings where secondary venting is crucial. It's perfect for plumbers needing a reliable, code-compliant solution for new installations or repairs. Skip the uncertainty of local alternatives; this Oatey valve offers proven performance. However, if your plumbing system uses non-standard or unrated vent pipe sizes exceeding 4 inches, or if you require a valve for high-pressure industrial applications, consult a specialized plumbing engineer.
