OASE CrystalSkim 600 Surface Skimmer for Freshwater and Marine Aquariums | Compact Internal Filter for Film Oil and Debris Removal

• QUICKLY CLEARS SURFACE DEBRIS – Removes biofilm, floating plant matter, and dust from the water’s surface to improve water clarity and support healthy oxygen exchange. Designed for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums.
• IMPROVES WATER CIRCULATION – In addition to surface skimming, the built-in bottom outlet creates gentle flow in low-circulation zones where debris tends to collect. This helps reduce dead spots and supports overall tank health.
• ADJUSTABLE FLOW & FLOATING RING – Customize skimming performance with an individually adjustable flow rate. The floating ring automatically adapts to changes in water level, maintaining consistent surface cleaning even when the unit isn’t perfectly level.
• SAFE FOR SHRIMP & SMALL FISH – A removable collection basket with fine intake slots protects delicate livestock while capturing the smallest particles that nets can’t remove. Ideal for planted tanks and aquascapes with shrimp or nano fish.
• RELIABLE QUALITY & BACKED BY WARRANTY – For aquariums up to 160 gallons (600 L). Italian-made, German-engineered, UL-certified, energy-efficient, and backed by a 3-year warranty.

• Position the Skimmer — Attach the OASE CrystalSkim 600 to the inside of your aquarium using the suction cups. Position it near the water surface, allowing the floating ring to adapt to the current water level.
• Adjust Flow and Intake — Connect the power and adjust the flow rate using the control dial to achieve optimal surface skimming without disturbing fish. Ensure the floating intake ring is positioned correctly to capture surface debris.
• Empty Collection Basket — Periodically remove and empty the collection basket, which traps debris and protects small inhabitants. Rinse the basket and skimmer components as needed for continued efficient operation.
