Protect Wood for Months at Low Cost
Nisus Tim-BOR Professional Insecticidal Dust is a water-soluble borate powder designed for versatile wood protection. It prevents decay fungi and insects such as dry wood termites and carpenter ants, making it ideal for safeguarding wood structures in India. This product can be applied as a dust, liquid, or foam, penetrating wood surfaces or working in hidden spaces like wall voids and attics, providing long-lasting control. Its natural borate mineral salt active ingredient ensures a sustainable, odorless solution that does not stain or damage wood surfaces. Suitable for new construction or remedial treatment, it offers a flexible, eco-friendly approach to wood preservation, trusted for durability and safety in various environments.
Application options include dust, spray, or foam, allowing treatment of decks, fences, and untreated wood. It is highly effective on wood with higher moisture content, creating a protective barrier that remains for years. The product is non-corrosive to screws and nails, maintaining the structural integrity and appearance of wood fixtures. Its environmentally sensitive formulation makes it a preferred choice for sustainable pest and decay control in Indian homes and construction projects. Follow label instructions for safe storage and application, avoiding contact with painted or sealed surfaces. Delivered in 25 lbs packaging, it covers large areas economically, with a 15% liquid solution recommended for new wood.
Formulation & Effectiveness
Made with disodium octaborate tetrahydrate, a naturally derived mineral salt, it provides a durable, eco-friendly barrier against decay fungi and insects. Its water-soluble nature ensures easy application and deep penetration, outperforming many synthetic alternatives for long-term protection in humid Indian climates.
Who Should Use & Who Should Skip
Ideal for homeowners, builders, and contractors seeking sustainable wood protection. Skip if you require chemical-based, fast-acting insecticides or have sensitivities to borates. Suitable for untreated wood, fences, decks, and wall cavities, but avoid contact with painted or sealed surfaces.
