Secure Your Property Automatically
The National Hardware Automatic Gate Latch provides robust security for your property. Crafted from durable black plated steel with a WeatherGuard coating, this latch is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, resisting corrosion for reliable fence gate latch performance. Its automatic gravity latch mechanism engages seamlessly upon closing, offering hands-free convenience and peace of mind for outswing gates, doors, and animal pens.
Featuring a versatile 4-inch strike, this latch mounts on either the gate or post, accommodating both left and right-handed configurations. The fingertip trip release allows for effortless operation, while the self-latching design ensures your gate remains securely closed. All necessary mounting hardware is included for straightforward installation on wooden or metal gates.
This gate latch is ideal for farms, ranches, and residential properties seeking dependable hardware. While local alternatives may offer basic functionality, this USA-sourced latch provides superior corrosion resistance and a proven automatic mechanism, ensuring long-lasting performance. Imported per order, all customs and GST are included in the price. Delivery via ExpressBox tracked service within 12-14 days.
Engineered for Indian Conditions
This National Hardware latch is built with robust black plated steel and a WeatherGuard coating, specifically designed to resist corrosion and harsh outdoor elements. Unlike many local options that may rust quickly in monsoon humidity or coastal salt air, this latch maintains its integrity and function. The automatic gravity latch mechanism provides reliable security for your farm gates, animal pens, or property perimeter, ensuring it stays securely closed even with frequent use.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
Ideal for homeowners, farmers, and property owners needing a reliable, automatic latch for outswing gates, animal enclosures, or sheds. If you require a latch that automatically secures itself and can be easily operated with a fingertip release, this is an excellent choice. Skip if you need a latch specifically for inward-swinging gates or if you prefer a purely decorative, non-functional hardware piece. For basic gate closure on covered areas, simpler latches might suffice, but this offers enhanced durability and automatic function.

The self-latching gravity mechanism ensures the gate stays shut without manual intervention. Its versatile mounting allows easy installation on most garden gates, and the black finish offers a clean look. All customs duties are included, with delivery via ExpressBox.
