Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip
This set is ideal for professional artists, art students, hobbyists, and craft business owners seeking high-quality, vibrant oil pastels for detailed drawing, sketching, and mixed-media art. If you require a wide color palette with excellent blending and lightfastness for projects intended for display or sale, these pastels are an excellent choice. However, if you are looking for very hard pastels for precise line work or dry sketching techniques, these soft oil pastels might be too blendable. For very young children, consider washable markers or crayons; while non-toxic, oil pastels can be messy if not used with supervision.
