Superior Rim Protection for Tire Changes
Tire changes can easily scratch or damage expensive wheel rims. The Motion Pro Rim Shield II, crafted from high-strength DuPont Zytel nylon, provides a robust barrier between your tire levers and the rim. Its patented design with dual raised beads and a smooth finish ensures levers slide under the tire bead without gouging the rim. This tool is essential for anyone performing their own tire maintenance, saving you from costly repairs or replacements. Imported directly from the USA, it offers professional-grade quality for your garage.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This tool is ideal for motorcycle enthusiasts, DIY mechanics, and anyone who frequently changes tubeless tires on cars, SUVs, or ATVs. If you value preserving your wheel's finish and want to avoid lever slippage, this is a worthwhile investment. Skip this specific model if you have heavy-duty cast rims; Motion Pro offers a different tool (P/N 08-0357) for those applications. It is not designed for tires with inner tubes or for use on rims with a bead lock system.
