The DayOne Gear Mobile Washer Portable Clothes Agitator in Blue offers a robust manual laundry solution for those with limited space or specific needs. Weighing just 1.25 pounds and featuring a 5-gallon capacity, it's exceptionally portable and suitable for apartments, dorms, campers, RVs, and travel. Constructed from durable aluminum, metal, and plastic, this washer is built to last. Its simple push-button controls and top-load access make operation straightforward, providing an effective way to clean clothes without electricity.
This mobile washer is praised for its effectiveness in cleaning clothes, with users noting it performs better than some electric machines for small loads. The sturdy construction is a recurring positive point, though some reviewers mention the handle knob feeling a bit flimsy. It's particularly useful for washing larger items that might not fit in smaller portable units, like dog bed covers or multiple pairs of socks. The manual operation provides a workout and conserves water, appealing to eco-conscious users.
For optimal use, it's recommended to use a water-to-clothes ratio that allows for easy turning of the handle and to drain and rinse the machine thoroughly after use to prevent odors. While it doesn't have a dehydration function, pairing it with a separate dryer or wringer is effective. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed INR price, with delivery expected in 15-17 days via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
