Regain Stability and Confidence
McDavid PSII Bi-Lateral Geared Polycentric Hinged Knee Brace (Medium, Black) provides essential support for knee injuries and pain management. Sourced from authorized US retailers, this brace ensures authentic quality. It features bi-lateral geared polycentric hinges for controlled movement and a padded buttress for targeted patella support, making it ideal for conditions like arthritis and tendonitis. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with ExpressBox tracked delivery.
The brace is constructed from 100% latex-free 4.8mm neoprene with a breathable, perforated back panel for heat and moisture management. Bound edges prevent irritation, and reinforced pull tabs allow for easy application. This design ensures comfort during activities like walking, running, soccer, and basketball. Reviewers find it sturdy and effective for keeping the knee in place during sports.
Compared to local alternatives, this imported brace offers advanced hinged support and medical-grade construction. While some local options may be lighter, they often lack the specific polycentric hinge mechanism for controlled flexion and extension. This McDavid brace is designed for durability and performance, ensuring reliable support for athletes and active individuals in India.
Advanced Hinged Support for Injury Recovery
The McDavid PSII brace utilizes advanced bi-lateral geared polycentric hinges, a feature often missing in simpler local supports. This mechanism allows for controlled flexion and extension, crucial for rehabilitating ACL, LCL, and MCL injuries. The 4.8mm latex-free neoprene construction offers medical-grade compression and warmth, promoting healing and reducing swelling. Its design is specifically engineered to enhance stability during movement, helping athletes and active individuals recover faster and return to their sports with confidence. This imported brace provides a level of engineered support that directly addresses the needs of those managing knee pain and seeking reliable protection.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This brace is ideal for athletes, active individuals, or anyone experiencing knee pain from ACL/MCL injuries, arthritis, or tendonitis who needs robust medial and lateral stability. It's excellent for sports like soccer, basketball, running, and hiking. However, individuals with severe neoprene allergies should consider alternative materials. Those seeking a very lightweight, minimal support sleeve for casual walking might find this brace slightly bulky. For children or individuals with knee circumferences significantly outside the 13-14 inch range, a different size or model may be necessary.
