It contains a balanced blend of proteins, vitamins, and minerals essential for supporting eye, skin, and GI tract health. The inclusion of antioxidants and key vitamins like E and A aids in bolstering the immune system and maintaining optimal vision. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, this diet guarantees authenticity and quality for your cherished reptile.

Ideal for Specific Tortoise Species

This diet is best suited for omnivorous species such as red-footed, yellow-footed, star, box, and wood tortoises. It provides moderate protein and energy levels tailored to their needs. If you own a desert tortoise species, a different Mazuri diet formulated for arid environments would be more appropriate. For pets with specific dietary sensitivities or allergies, always consult with a veterinarian before introducing a new food. Ensure fresh water and proper humidity are always available.

How to use

Determine Daily Portion — Feed approximately 2-4% of your tortoise's body weight each day. For example, a 5lb (2.27kg) tortoise would receive about 1-2 oz (28-56g) of pellets daily.
Prepare and Serve — Pellets can be fed dry. If desired, moisten slightly with water to help acclimate animals. Ensure the food is fresh and remove any uneaten portions daily.
Provide Essential Supplements — Always offer plenty of fresh, clean water and maintain proper humidity levels. Supplement with good quality grass hay or browse, and optional fresh fruits/vegetables (max 5% fruit, 20% veg by weight).
