When used alone, it dries to a matte opaque white that readily accepts staining or can be painted on top, offering versatile creative possibilities.

This non-toxic modeling paste is intermixable with Liquitex Professional Acrylic Paint Colors and Mediums. It can be applied with various tools like palette knives, trowels, or brushes to create different effects. Mix acrylic paint directly into the paste or paint over it once dry. For textured glazes, mix with Liquitex gloss medium & varnish. Adding gel medium or heavy gel medium when using aggregates like sand helps prevent brittleness. Varnish with care, preferably spray applied, to avoid foaming.
