• Prepare Your Surface — Ensure your canvas, wood, or other art surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or debris. For porous surfaces like unprimed wood, consider a base coat of acrylic gesso or sealant to prevent the paste from being absorbed too quickly.
• Apply the Modeling Paste — Apply Bluebird Thick Modeling Paste directly from the tube or use palette knives, spatulas, or sculpting tools to spread, sculpt, and create texture. Build up layers as desired, allowing each layer to become touch-dry before applying the next for best results.
• Dry and Add Detail — Allow the modeling paste to dry completely. The quick-drying formula minimizes waiting time. Once dry, you can paint over it with acrylics, inks, or other mediums to add color and further detail to your textured artwork.
