Ideal for Indian Households

These filters are perfect for Indian homes concerned about water quality, especially in areas with varying tap water purity. They effectively tackle chlorine taste, common heavy metals, and even trace pharmaceuticals often found in municipal supplies. While local filters might offer basic chlorine reduction, these LG filters provide comprehensive protection certified by independent labs. If you have a compatible LG refrigerator and seek reliable, certified filtration for your family's health, this 2-pack bundle is an excellent choice. Those with non-LG refrigerators or requiring specialized filtration beyond NSF 401 standards may need to explore other options.

How to use

Locate Filter Compartment — Open your LG refrigerator and find the filter compartment, usually located in the upper right corner of the fresh food section or at the base grille. Remove the old filter if present by twisting it counter-clockwise.
Install New Filter — Unpack the new LG LT1000P2 or LT120F filter. Align it with the filter housing and twist it clockwise until it locks securely into place. A simple quarter-turn is usually sufficient.
Flush the Filter — After installation, dispense and discard approximately 2-3 gallons of water from the refrigerator's water dispenser to flush out any loose carbon fines and ensure optimal performance. This typically takes about 5 minutes.
Reset Filter Indicator — Press and hold the filter reset button (location varies by model, often on the control panel) for approximately 3 seconds until the filter indicator light turns green or resets. Your new filter is now ready for use.
