Ideal for Serious Artists, Consider Alternatives If...
These extra soft pastels are perfect for experienced artists, art students, and hobbyists seeking professional-grade materials for detailed drawing, sketching, and painting. Their high pigment load and blendability are ideal for achieving nuanced effects. However, if you are a beginner looking for very firm pastels that require minimal fixative, or if you prefer oil pastels for their waxy texture, these dry, soft pastels might not be your first choice. A fixative is strongly recommended after use to prevent pigment smudging.
