Precision Control for Productivity
The Kensington Orbit Wireless Trackball is engineered for users who demand precision and comfort. Its 40mm ball with a hard surface ensures accurate tracking, while the scroll ring simplifies navigation through documents and web pages. With four DPI settings, you can customize cursor speed for tasks ranging from detailed graphic design to everyday browsing. The dual wireless connectivity offers the flexibility to connect via 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth LE, supported by government-grade 128-bit AES encryption for secure data transmission. This trackball is an excellent choice for professionals and students seeking an ergonomic input solution that minimizes desk space and reduces physical strain.
Ideal for Extended Use vs. Who Should Consider Alternatives
This trackball is ideal for office professionals, designers, and students who spend long hours at their computers and seek to reduce wrist and hand strain. Its ambidextrous design makes it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users. However, users accustomed to high-speed gaming mice might find the trackball's movement style requires an adjustment period. If you require extremely high polling rates for competitive gaming or prefer a traditional mouse for fast-paced action, other input devices might be more suitable. This model is best suited for productivity and ergonomic comfort.
