Capture Microscopic Details with Your Canon DSLR
JJC Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Set for Canon EF/EF-S cameras (12mm, 20mm, 36mm tubes). Imported from USA, this set enables closer focusing for detailed macro shots, converting your lenses into macro optics. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
This set includes three tubes (12mm, 20mm, 36mm) that can be used individually or combined for variable magnification. They mount between your Canon EOS DSLR camera and EF/EF-S lens, increasing the distance to the sensor. This allows the lens to focus closer than its normal minimum distance, magnifying your subject for macro photography. The brass mounts ensure durability, while the ABS plastic tubes are lightweight. This is a cost-effective way to achieve macro effects without buying expensive dedicated macro lenses, maintaining your lens's original optical quality.
While the tubes support full autofocus and auto exposure, stacking multiple or longer tubes can sometimes affect autofocus performance due to reduced depth of field and light. For best results in challenging macro conditions, manual focus or using a tripod with a focusing rail is recommended. This accessory is compatible with Canon EOS DSLR cameras and EF/EF-S lenses.
Unlock Macro Photography with Your Canon EF/EF-S Lenses
Transform your Canon EOS DSLR and EF/EF-S lenses into powerful macro tools with the JJC Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Set. This imported set, sourced from authorized US retailers, provides three tubes (12mm, 20mm, 36mm) that extend your lens's focusing distance. This allows you to capture stunningly detailed close-up images of small subjects, from insects to intricate textures, without the expense of a dedicated macro lens. The brass mounts ensure a robust connection, while the electronic contacts maintain autofocus and auto exposure capabilities for many shooting situations. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, ensuring a transparent landed cost for Indian buyers.
Who Should Use This vs. Who Should Consider Alternatives
This extension tube set is ideal for amateur photographers and enthusiasts looking to explore macro photography on a budget with their existing Canon EF/EF-S DSLR cameras and lenses. It's perfect for capturing details of flowers, insects, textures, or small product shots. However, professional macro photographers requiring absolute precision in all lighting conditions, or those using manual-only lenses, might prefer dedicated macro lenses or manual extension tubes for simpler operation. If you frequently stack tubes or shoot in very low light, be prepared to use manual focus and a tripod for optimal results, as autofocus can become challenging.
