Daiwa J-Fluoro Leader 80 lb (73.2 m) | Made in Japan 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line

• 100% Fluorocarbon Construction – Premium Japanese fluorocarbon leader material delivers exceptional strength, superior knot performance, and outstanding sensitivity for freshwater and saltwater fishing
• Nearly Invisible Underwater – Low refractive index closely matches water, reducing line visibility to help generate more strikes from wary fish in clear or pressured conditions
• Exceptional Abrasion Resistance – Engineered to withstand rocks, docks, reefs, and heavy cover, providing dependable protection when fighting hard-running fish
• Fast-Sinking & High Sensitivity – Dense fluorocarbon sinks quickly and offers excellent feel, helping anglers detect subtle bites while maintaining natural bait presentation
• Convenient 50-Yard Spool – Compact spool provides ample leader material for multiple rigs and is available in a variety of breaking strengths to match your target species and fishing technique

• Prepare Your Reel — Ensure your reel is spooled with main fishing line (braid or monofilament). Tie your chosen main line to the end of the Daiwa J-Fluoro Leader using a strong knot like a FG knot or Albright knot.
• Tie Your Leader — Use a reliable knot to attach the leader to your main line. Ensure the knot is tight and trimmed properly to pass through rod guides smoothly. The leader's 80 lb strength is ideal for tough conditions.
• Attach Lure or Hook — Tie your lure, fly, or hook to the business end of the Daiwa J-Fluoro Leader using a knot suitable for fluorocarbon, such as a Palomar knot or improved clinch knot. Test the knot strength before casting.
