• Prepare the Dripper and Filter — Place the HARIO V60 Metal Coffee Dripper (Size 02) onto your mug or carafe. Insert a V60 paper filter (size 02) and rinse it thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the dripper and vessel. Discard the rinse water.
• Add Coffee Grounds — Add your desired amount of medium-ground coffee into the rinsed filter. A common ratio is 1:15 (e.g., 15g coffee to 225ml water). Gently shake the dripper to level the coffee bed.
• Bloom and Pour — Slowly pour just enough hot water (around 90-96°C or 195-205°F) to saturate the grounds, starting from the center and moving outwards. Let it bloom for 30 seconds. Then, continue pouring in slow, steady circles, maintaining a consistent water level.
• Complete Brew and Clean — Allow all the water to drip through the coffee bed. The total brew time should typically be between 2.5 to 4 minutes. Once brewed, remove the dripper, discard the filter and grounds, and rinse the dripper for easy cleaning.
