The haakaa Silicone Colostrum Collector Kit is an award-winning, world-first design for collecting, storing, and feeding precious liquid gold. Made from 100% food-grade, BPA-free silicone, this kit includes six 6ml collectors and one 25ml lidded cup, all pre-sterilized and individually sealed, making it perfect for your hospital bag. It offers a safer, easier alternative to plastic syringes, ensuring you can prepare for your newborn's essential immunity.
This versatile kit allows for flexible three-way collection: express directly into the collector body, use the nib for suction, or utilize the lidded cup for storage and feeding. The heat and freeze-resistant silicone ensures your collected colostrum is safely stored. Measurement marks on the cup help track intake, providing peace of mind for new mothers.
Compared to local alternatives, the haakaa kit provides a sterile, ready-to-use solution without the need for immediate preparation. All customs duties and GST are included in the displayed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Enjoy the convenience of authentic USA-sourced quality for your breastfeeding journey.
The Science Behind Haakaa's Colostrum Collector
Colostrum, rich in antibodies, is vital for newborn immunity. The haakaa collector's award-winning design simplifies its collection and storage. Unlike basic syringes, its flexible silicone and integrated cup allow for direct expression, storage, and feeding in one unit. This ensures the 'liquid gold' is preserved optimally, ready for your baby's first feeds. Sourced from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, it offers a trusted, high-quality option.
Who Should Use This Kit & Who Should Consider Alternatives
This kit is ideal for breastfeeding mothers, expecting mothers, and those preparing their hospital bag. It's perfect for collecting early colostrum for newborns. However, if you require a very large volume collector or prefer disposable plastic syringes, other options might be considered. For those needing to store larger quantities of mature milk, a different type of breast milk storage solution would be more suitable.
