Fotasy Copper Adjustable M42 Lens to E Mount Adapter allows M42 42mm screw mount lenses to fit Sony E-mount mirrorless camera bodies, including the a7, a9, a6000 series, and ZV-E10. This adapter guarantees infinity focus and features a solid, durable, adjustable copper lens mount for a secure fit. It is designed for photographers seeking to adapt vintage M42 lenses for creative macro photography and unique imaging possibilities.
This adapter ring has no electrical contacts, meaning automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other electronic functions will not operate. You will need to manually adjust exposure and focus. The smooth surface ensures effortless mounting and unmounting, while the fine construction makes it lightweight yet strong. It's an ideal solution for photographers who want to expand their creative options by using a wider range of M42 lenses on their modern Sony E-mount cameras.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, this Fotasy adapter offers a cost-effective way to access a vast collection of M42 lenses. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping within 12-14 days. Enjoy the flexibility of adapting your favorite M42 lenses to your Sony E-mount camera without worrying about import charges.
Unlock Vintage Lens Potential on Modern Sony Cameras
Fotasy's copper M42 to E-mount adapter bridges the gap between classic M42 screw mount lenses and modern Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. This adapter guarantees infinity focus, allowing you to utilize the unique character and optical qualities of vintage lenses. The durable copper construction ensures a secure fit, while the adjustable mount provides flexibility. Since there are no electronic contacts, you gain full manual control over focus and exposure, fostering a more deliberate and creative photographic process. This imported accessory is ideal for photographers in India looking to experiment with a vast array of affordable M42 lenses on their Sony Alpha or NEX cameras, offering a cost-effective way to achieve distinct visual styles.
Who Should Use This Adapter & Who Should Consider Alternatives
This adapter is perfect for photographers who own M42 screw mount lenses and want to use them on Sony E-mount cameras (like the a7, a6000 series, or ZV-E10). It's especially suited for those who enjoy manual focus and exposure control for creative macro photography or specific artistic effects. Consider alternatives if you require autofocus, auto-exposure, or electronic aperture control, as this adapter does not support those functions. If your primary goal is speed and automation, a native E-mount lens or a different type of adapter with electronic contacts would be more appropriate.
