Unlock Detailed Macro Photography
Fotasy 12-19mm Macro Helicoid Extension Tube is designed for M42 screw mount lenses, enabling detailed close-up photography. Made from a lightweight aluminum alloy, this adapter provides a smooth 7mm focusing movement, extending from 12mm to a maximum of 19mm. It's ideal for lenses without a built-in focus ring, acting as a macro barrel for precise control. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, all customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, ensuring a transparent purchase. This accessory is crucial for photographers looking to explore the world of macro imaging with their existing M42 lens collection.
This helicoid adapter allows you to achieve significantly closer focusing distances than your lens's native minimum focus distance. The 7mm of adjustable movement provides fine-tuning capabilities, essential for achieving sharp focus in macro shots. It works with M42 mount lenses, such as Carl Zeiss and Pentax Takumar. For those wishing to use 39mm enlarger lenses, an additional 39mm-to-42mm adapter is required. The durable aluminum alloy construction ensures longevity and a secure fit.
When considering macro photography accessories, imported options like this Fotasy helicoid offer specialized functionality not always readily available in local markets. The precise manual focus control allows for creative depth-of-field adjustments. Your order is processed per-order and shipped via ExpressBox, with delivery timelines provided at checkout. The total landed cost, including all duties and taxes, is transparently displayed.
Unlock Macro Potential with Precision
Fotasy's 12-19mm Macro Helicoid Adapter unlocks detailed close-up photography for your M42 lenses. Unlike fixed extension tubes, its helicoid design offers a smooth 7mm of manual focus adjustment, allowing you to precisely dial in focus for stunning macro shots. Crafted from durable aluminum alloy, it ensures a reliable connection. This imported accessory provides specialized functionality for photographers seeking to explore intricate details in subjects ranging from insects to textures, offering a level of control that enhances creative possibilities.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This helicoid adapter is perfect for photographers using M42 mount lenses who want to perform macro photography and require fine focus control. It's ideal for capturing intricate details on subjects like insects, flowers, or textures. Skip this if you are using a camera system with a different mount (e.g., Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E) unless you have an appropriate M42 adapter for your camera body. It is also not suitable for users who need autofocus or automatic aperture control, as it is a manual focus accessory.
