Achieve Pristine Aquarium Water with Fluval ClearMax
Fluval ClearMax Phosphate Remover is a premium chemical filter media designed to significantly reduce phosphate, nitrite, and nitrate levels in your aquarium. This scientifically formulated resin helps create crystal clear water, making maintenance easier and reducing odors. It is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, ensuring ideal conditions for fish and plants. Each pack includes three 100-gram nylon bags, and monthly replacement is recommended for optimal performance. Ensure consistent biological activity by staggering media replacement with other filter media.
This filter media is compatible with Fluval Series Canister Filters 06, 07, FX, and more. By removing excess nutrients, ClearMax helps prevent algae blooms and promotes a healthier environment for aquatic life. The 100-gram nylon bags are easy to rinse and place directly into your filter's media basket. For best results, replace the media monthly to maintain its active adsorption capacity.
Compared to local Indian alternatives, Fluval ClearMax offers a specialized resin formulation for targeted nutrient removal. Imported directly, it ensures you receive the authentic product. All customs duties and GST are included in the price. Delivery is handled via ExpressBox, arriving in 12-14 days.
Advanced Nutrient Adsorption Science
Fluval ClearMax utilizes a science-grade resin specifically engineered to adsorb phosphate, nitrite, and nitrate. Unlike generic filter media, this targeted approach ensures efficient removal of key compounds that contribute to algae growth and poor water quality. The resin's high capacity and consistent performance create a stable, crystal-clear environment, reducing the need for frequent water changes and manual cleaning. This advanced formulation is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, providing a reliable solution for aquarists seeking optimal water parameters.
Ideal for Dedicated Aquarists, Skip if...
This product is perfect for aquarists seeking to proactively manage nutrient levels and achieve pristine water quality with minimal effort. It's ideal for planted tanks, reef aquariums, and fish-only systems where water clarity and low nutrient levels are paramount. Skip this product if you have a saltwater-only tank and are looking for nitrate removal specifically, as ClearMax is not effective for nitrates in saltwater applications. Also, consider local alternatives if you require immediate, low-cost solutions for very large tanks where monthly replacement costs might be a concern.
Typical situations where Fluval ClearMax Phosphate Remover Chemical Filter Media 100g Bags | 3 Count (Pack of 12) helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
An aquarist in a humid Indian city wants to maintain clear water and prevent algae blooms in their freshwater planted tank.
Using Fluval ClearMax monthly ensures consistent removal of phosphates and nitrates, preventing excessive algae growth and keeping the water pristine for healthy plant and fish life. This reduces manual cleaning frequency.
A hobbyist with a saltwater reef tank needs to manage phosphate levels but is concerned about nitrate removal effectiveness.
Fluval ClearMax effectively adsorbs phosphates in saltwater, contributing to clearer water and healthier coral conditions. While it does not remove nitrates in saltwater, its targeted phosphate action is beneficial for reef tank stability.
