Will these tuning pegs fit my electric guitar?

This pickup is designed for electric guitars that accept humbucker pickups with 52mm pole spacing. Check your guitar's existing pickup dimensions and mounting holes to ensure compatibility. If your guitar has humbucker routes and standard spacing, installation should be straightforward with the included screws and springs.

What is the difference between locking and standard tuning pegs?

This question is not applicable to guitar pickups. Locking tuners are a type of tuning machine for the guitar headstock, used to tune the strings. This product is a bridge humbucker pickup, which captures the string vibrations and converts them into an electrical signal.

How to choose a guitar pickup for Indian climate?

For India's varied climate, choose pickups that are fully wax potted and sealed. This FLEOR humbucker is wax potted to prevent microphonics and noise, which can be exacerbated by humidity. Ensure the pickup's construction is robust to withstand potential environmental changes, offering reliable performance.

Is this FLEOR pickup authentic and original?

Yes, all FLEOR guitar pickups sold by CrowCrowCrow are sourced directly from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, ensuring they are factory-sealed and original. We import them exclusively for you, with all customs duties and GST pre-paid, so you receive genuine parts without any hidden charges.

What is the resistance (K ohms) of this bridge pickup?

This FLEOR bridge humbucker pickup has a resistance of 15-16K ohms. This higher resistance indicates a higher output, meaning the pickup will produce a stronger signal when amplified, suitable for genres requiring more gain and sustain.

Can I use this pickup on a 6-string electric guitar?

Yes, this bridge humbucker pickup is designed for standard 6-string electric guitars that are compatible with humbucker pickups and have a 52mm pole spacing. It is intended for the bridge position to provide a powerful, high-output tone.

Why choose this product

Superior Tone & Performance

This FLEOR Alnico 5 bridge humbucker pickup is engineered for musicians seeking a high-output, noise-free upgrade. The Alnico 5 magnet provides a robust magnetic field, translating into a powerful and articulate tone that stands out. Unlike generic pickups, its precise 15-16K resistance and fully wax-potted construction ensure a clean signal, minimizing hum and feedback even when pushed hard. The 12 adjustable hexagonal pole pieces offer granular control over string balance and intonation, allowing you to dial in your perfect sound. This imported component offers a distinct tonal character often missing in standard Indian market offerings, bringing a professional edge to your playing.

Who It's For & Who Should Skip

Ideal for electric guitarists playing rock, blues, or metal who want a hotter bridge pickup for increased sustain and drive. If you're looking to replace a stock pickup with something that offers more power and clarity, this is a great choice. It's also suitable for DIY guitar builders or modders. However, if you prefer a vintage, low-output, or extremely bright single-coil tone, this high-output humbucker might not be the best fit. Players seeking a specific boutique pickup with a unique, hand-wound character might find this mass-produced option too generic.

How to use

Remove Old Pickup — Carefully unscrew and disconnect the existing bridge pickup from your electric guitar. Note the wiring connections to ensure correct re-installation of the new pickup.
Install New Pickup — Position the FLEOR humbucker in the bridge pickup cavity, aligning the 52mm pole spacing with your strings. Use the included screws and springs to mount the pickup securely.
Wire the Pickup — Connect the new pickup's wires (typically hot, ground, and sometimes coil split wires) to the appropriate points on your guitar's volume and tone controls according to wiring diagrams.
Test and Adjust — Tune your guitar and test the new pickup's output and tone. Adjust the pickup height using the screws and springs for optimal string balance and desired sound.
