How do I verify if this FINDMAG magnet is compatible with my electric hoist?

This FINDMAG magnet is not an electric hoist component and does not interface with electric hoist control systems. It is a passive, powerful neodymium magnet designed for direct metal retrieval or hanging applications. Compatibility with an electric hoist would depend on the hoist's lifting capacity and whether it has a suitable attachment point for the magnet's eye-bolt.

Are imported FINDMAG magnets compatible with standard Indian I-beams?

This FINDMAG magnet is not a trolley or beam clamp and does not attach to I-beams. It is designed for direct contact with ferrous metal surfaces for retrieval or hanging. For I-beam compatibility, you would need a separate hoist trolley or beam clamp, which should be sized according to your specific I-beam dimensions and the load capacity required.

What is the best way to use the FINDMAG 750 LBS magnet for magnet fishing in India?

For magnet fishing in India, tie a strong rope securely to the lifting eye-bolt. Cast the magnet into water bodies known to contain submerged metal objects like old coins, fishing lures, or tools. Slowly drag the magnet along the bottom. Regularly inspect the magnet and rope for wear, especially after retrieving heavy items or encountering snags.

How can I clean metal debris with the FINDMAG 750 LBS magnet?

Simply sweep the FINDMAG magnet across surfaces like workshop floors, garages, or lawns where nails, screws, or metal shavings might be present. The strong magnetic pull will attract and hold the ferrous debris, making cleanup quick and efficient. Ensure the magnet is clean before storing to maintain its full pulling power.

Can I use this FINDMAG magnet for hanging heavy items outdoors in India?

Yes, the FINDMAG 750 LBS magnet can be used for hanging items like flower baskets, planters, or camping lights on metal surfaces outdoors. Ensure the surface is clean, flat, and made of ferrous metal for maximum adhesion. The 750lb pull force provides significant holding power, but always consider the weight of the item and the safety of the hanging location.

Why choose this product

Unmatched Retrieval Power & Durability

This FINDMAG heavy-duty fishing magnet delivers a formidable 750lb vertical pull force, significantly outperforming many standard magnets. Its construction combines a powerful neodymium core with a robust A3 steel body, protected by a triple-layer Ni-Cu-Ni coating for superior resistance against rust and wear. This ensures it maintains its strength and integrity even after prolonged use in challenging conditions like lakes, rivers, or industrial settings. Imported directly from authorized US retailers and brand partners, it guarantees authentic performance and build quality that local alternatives often struggle to match, making it a reliable tool for serious retrieval tasks.

Ideal for Serious Retrieval, Workshop Cleanup, and Outdoor Organization

This magnet is perfect for experienced magnet fishers seeking deep-water retrieval capabilities or for efficiently clearing workshops and yards of nails, screws, and other metal debris. It's also a practical solution for organizing garages or patios by hanging tools, lights, or planters without needing to drill. While it excels in these applications, individuals requiring magnets for highly sensitive electronic equipment or those needing extremely fine magnetic manipulation might find specialized, lower-power magnets more suitable. For general metal retrieval and heavy-duty tasks, this FINDMAG magnet is an excellent choice.

How to use

Attach Rope Securely — Tie a strong, durable rope (rated for at least 750 lbs) securely to the magnet's integrated lifting eye-bolt. Ensure the knot is tight and will not slip under load.
Cast and Drag — For magnet fishing, cast the magnet into the water body. Slowly drag it along the bottom or desired area, allowing the magnetic force to attract ferrous metal objects.
Retrieve and Clean — When the magnet has collected items, carefully pull it back. For debris cleanup, sweep the magnet over the target area. Clean the magnet face after each use to maintain optimal performance.
Store Properly — Store the magnet away from sensitive electronic devices, credit cards, or pacemakers. Keep it in a dry place, ideally with its original packaging or a protective cover, to prevent accidental attraction and maintain its strength.
